Do people with disabilites have equal access to every job? Why is a disabled person not qualified to be a manager? Companies start hiring people with disabilities but are these likely to be given a leadership position in accordance with their competences? Prejudices represent the main reason why people with disabilities are less likely to be employed as managers in Serbian companies.
The employers accepted to provide them with employment but it is indispensable to make possible for them to show what they are most capable of. In recent times, people with disabilities more and more often overcome this problem and prove themselves to be highly successful managers. With respect to this, it is necessary to provide them with equal employment opportunities for it is not their handicap which limits their lives most but stereotypes and prejudices.
