4-6.11.2009.

National labour service (NSZ) delegation, comprising of Mr Vladimir Ilic, director, Ms Vanja Zlatkovic – Head of Disability Mediation Department, Ms Tatjana Prijic – Head of Legal and Supervisory Department in the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Ms Snezana Markovic – Director of Financial and Accountancy Department within the NSZ and Mr Zeljko Ilic - director of Youth with Disability Forum, undertook a formal visit to Slovenia in the scope of which they attended Slovenian.

National Labour Service, The National Employment Fund and other relevant institutions dealing with employment issues.

The visit was organized by the Slovenian Office Papilot, a leader in employment of disadvantaged groups in the region of South-Eastern Europe. The delegation had an opportunity to get acquainted with experiences and practical work of the Slovenian institutions in this field and initiated a lot of contacts by means of which a more efficient implementation of the Law on professional rehabilitation of people with disabilities will be ensured in the Republic of Serbia.
Particular attention was directed to the process of working abilities assessment as far as people with disabilites are concerned whose implementation is to start shortly. The delegation received a lot of  of very useful information and guidelines on how to make the mentioned process fully applicabel in practice.
As an added value of the visit, we would like to point out the mixed character of the delegation and the willingness and understanding the National Employment Service displayed when deciding to cooperate with the NGO sector and select the president of Youth with Disability Forum to be one of the participants. Thus, representatives of the public and NGO sector could exchange information and jointly formulate the future platform and strategic orientations and present it as such to the Slovenian institutions.

During the visit, an agreement was reached for contuinuation of cooperation and information exchange which should contribute to better bilateral relations in the area of marginalized groups  employment.
